LyricsFinder11 is a companion tool for Winamp 5.x, iTunes, Last.fm that searches LyricWiki for the lyrics of the current song. LyricsFinder11 has a unique feature to utilize MusicDNS to identify songs, if the song’s ID3 tags are incorrect or empty.
The first major version (1.0) was released on 16 December 2007, as freeware. [1]

The number 11 on the title is a reference to movie/rockumentary "This Is Spinal Tap". [2]

LyricsFinder11 is a system tray application that displays the lyrics of the current song when double-clicked. It can identify songs based on mp3 ID3 tags or from querying the MusicDNS database, and can automatically generate unique MusicDNS keys if necessary. If a song is successfully identified, LyricsFinder11 can update ID3v1 tags and save the lyrics in a text file.
LyricsFinder11 can discover lyrics from internet radio, if title and artist information are available, as with ChroniX Radio or SomaFM.
