[edit] English Roolz

You seem to have quite an anal grasp of English grammar "rules" and such. News flash: grammar and usage is not a fixed phenomon, like the orbits of planets or chemical formulae. Usage changes, and "acceptable" usage is often on a continuum. For instance, did you bother reading the article on Singular they I pointed you to? (While you're at it, there's a whole slew of other usage stuff at disputed English grammar which you might find interesting.) So correcting what you see as errors by appealing to some authority (Strunk & White, Chicago manual, etc.) is sometimes very poor form. (There are, of course, exceptions, as when a blatant error has been made.) Are you really that big of a head-up-the-ass prescriptivist? --ILike2BeAnonymous 21:54, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

Dude, I am totally getting a t-shirt that says "prescriptivist" on it. --LyptonVillage 02:33, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
