Talk:Lyn McLeod
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Sexism may have played a role in McLeod's defeat. One poll taken after the election showed that one in five voters cast their ballots against McLeod because she was a woman."
C'mon, unless you're willing to have links cited to this crass generalization, then this type of spin has no purpose in being in a Wiki Entry.
Canada has had many strong female leaders including a PM. So get over it.
[edit] Northern Ontario Leader.
There is no mention to the possible reality that Ms. McCleod was defeated by a late vote movement swing, away from a party leader that was not from the Toronto area, and the Bay Street Boys Club, but rather way, way up in Northern Ontario.
