"The song is about a woman who's having an affair, and her husband finds out and leaves her."

I don't think this is true. Rather, this song is about a woman who has married an older man for his money, and is now in a loveless marriage. She sneaks off and spends time with her boyfriend, and promises him that soon she will be leave her husband and be with him; however, both he and her husband know what she's really doing, and that she'll never ever really get out of her lies. 169.199.131.165 21:33, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
