Luxor Governorate (Arabic: الأقصر ) is one of the governorates of Egypt. It is in the south of the country along the Nile. Its capital is Luxor. It is nearly a governorate, and people are looking to make it a dependable governorate as it is a small piece carved out of the Qena Governorate.
