The Lusones were an ancient Celtiberian (Pre-Roman) people of the Iberian peninsula (the Roman Hispania), in the high Tajuña River, northeast of Guadalajara - it is believed that the city of Lutia was its capital. They spoke a variety of the Celtiberian language. They should not be confused with the Lusitanians, even if a relation between them both is plausible.
