Talk:Lumix

If anybody has any information about the new TZ1, I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks!

http://www.dpreview.com is a pretty good site for information. Essentially a 5-megapixel semi-compact with 10x (35-350mm) zoom. Some more specific information:

[edit] Updated Nov 7th 2006

Added more to the description as well as added a Leica Model Crossover, pros and cons, and external links section. Also got rid of the Advert tag -Muteknee November 07, 2006 (PST)

[edit] Massaged the 'noise' thing.

The "noise" "con" was worded a little too harshly, imo -- as if written by someone trying to put down these cameras. I've modified it so it reads more neutral -- yes, Virginia, there is noise, no, Virginia, it isn't half as bad as some people make it out to be -- as long as you're not a pixel-peeper. The bulk of the people who retch about lumix noise are 100%-viewing pixel-peepers... the real world doesn't view pictures at 100%.

The TZ1 certainly had folded optics, I'm pretty sure, however, that the latest TZ series do not have folded optics. If anyone knows for sure, please update the page as I'm pretty sure its currently inaccurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.253.201.105 (talk) 04:19, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
