[edit] Fair use image use
I have previously removed fair use images from your userpage in accordance with our policy at Wikipedia:Fair use criteria item #9. You've since added a fair use image to your userpage again [1] and also added a fair use image to a userbox template [2], both of which constitute violations of the same policy. Please understand; this policy does not permit the use of any copyrighted, fair use imagery outside of the main article namespace. If you have questions about this, or need help identifying what is and is not a fair use image, I'd be happy to help. I've removed the violations again. --Durin 14:19, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- Despite my words to you above, and my now twice prior removal of fair use images from your userpage, you have re-inserted a fair use image (Image:Star Wars Logo.svg) [3] that I have previously removed from your userpage in compliance with the above noted policy. Have I been unclear? Are you unclear about what constitutes a fair use image? Are there any questions I can answer for you about this? If you continue to violate this policy it will constitute vandalism and you may be temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please, if there's some way I can help let me know. But, do not keep adding fair use images to your userpage. --Durin 15:00, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
