User talk:Luke delong

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello there! Welcome to Wikipedia. I think there are people who look for people without talk pages and welcome them to wikipedia, but I'm not one of them and so might not be doing this properly. I think I'm normally supposed to use a template which gives you the following helpful links:

I noticed you removing the contents of a page you created earlier, Lamoille, Illinois, which I assume was a test. In the future, please do tests on the sandbox page. You should probably know that deleting the contents of a page does not delete the page; the page still exists as of this writing, and you can see the older version, which has all of its contents, by looking at the article's history. The link to history is at the top of the article. Actually, normal users, myself included, cannot delete an article. I've put in a request for it to be deleted by an admin (see Wikipedia:Speedy deletions if you want more info on how that works).

Anyway, thank you for your interest in wikipedia, and I hope you will like it here. madewokherd 20:10, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

Whoops! I put the message on your user page instead of your discussion page. Sorry about that. :x madewokherd 20:12, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
