Luke is popular with the Staples Center Crowd? I am not sure about that. In the recent game against the Celtics (February 2006) which was in LA, the fans appeared to have been booing Luke when he entered the game. And I remember a few earlier games when he was booed by the home crowd as well. There are times when he is cheered, but thats usually when he makes a play, or when Lakers are winning, but then everyone on the team is cheered. So I dont think that he is that popular with the Lakes crowd, the reaction he received simply depends on the plays he makes or doesnt make.--Gusiman 00:41, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

He's not being booed. The hjb,hbcrowd yells, "Luuuuuuuuke," which sounds a lot like being booed. Just like Michael Cooper back in the Showtime days, who was called, "Cooooooooop" by the fans (also sounds like booing). howcheng {chat} 07:43, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Re: Request for reference for this block:

What specific references does this require? I think the references to the box score are enough.
