It's a shame that you call Luis a racist... The way he talked "negro de mierda" he was using a very common expression in spanish "...de mierda" and we use it every time for many things. It's rude and not very good manner but we use it the same way you use the word "fuck" or the expression "fucking something"... for exemple "fucking bitch" to call a woman that she is very bad and nasty but you don't mean she is a prostitute. I'm not defending the ways of Luis, (he is not very nice but the way) but the way you treated these subjet it's very sensacionalist and very far from reality, !Ingleses de mierda! :-) (this is a joke)

Come on man! Why are you trying to justify this guy? In 2006, he called the french national football team (which includes a high number of black players) a team of "apes". I've already been in Spain and nobody never called me "mono" or even "negro de mierda". I understand that he's from another time (he was born in 1938) and that, maybe, racist statements were commonplace in those days. But hey! Franco is not anymore and you Spaniards are now part of the European Union, a community where racism is illegal. How can you tolerate such a behaviour from your national football coach?Mitch1981 (talk) 17:47, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
