Luiz Carlos Guedes Stukas better known as Luiz Carlos (born 10 March 1980 in Porto Alegre) is a Brazilian football player he currently plays for portuguese team União Leiria who currently play in the BWIN Liga.

Luiz Carlos grew up in Porto Alegre,Brazil and began his career with Rio Branco Atlético Clube at the age of 19 in 1999,after being with Rio Branco Atlético Clube six years in 2005 at 25 he was bought by big brazilian club Esporte Clube Juventude because of his good performances and after a few months with Esporte Clube Juventude he was bought by portuguese team F.C. Paços de Ferreira.Since joining F.C. Paços de Ferreira he has been a key figure for F.C. Paços de Ferreira in defence with good partnerships with fellow team mates and he has ajusted the style of play that F.C. Paços de Ferreira play in.He made his debut for F.C. Paços de Ferreira at home to C.D. Nacional in a 1-0 loss on the 21 August 2005 when he came on as a sub playing only six minutes.

Luiz Carlos played an important part in F.C. Paços de Ferreira's most successful year were he played 27 games out of a possible 30 and scored 3 goals.He made a good partnership at centre back with Geraldo Alves and full backs Mangualde and Vitorino Antunes.This was a good part of there successful season reaching sixth place and reaching the Uefa Cup and only concending 36 goals.Luiz and his fellow defenders scored 6 goals from only defence which is an impressive tally for defenders.
