Luis Gonzalez (pitcher)

Luis Enrique Hernandez Gonzalez (born February 27, 1983 in Santurce, Puerto Rico) is a left-handed pitcher in Minor League Baseball who pitches for the Tulsa Drillers in the Double-A Texas League.
Gonzalez was selected in the 11th round of the June 2001 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers out of the Florida Air Academy in Melbourne, Florida. In his minor league career for the Dodgers he has pitched for the Gulf Coast Dodgers (2001-2002), Great Falls Dodgers (2002), South Georgia Waves (2003), Vero Beach Dodgers (2003), Jacksonville Suns (2004-2005) and Las Vegas 51s (2005-2006).
He was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the Rule 5 draft prior to the 2006 season but pitched poorly in spring training and was returned to the Dodgers. He pitched in 25 games for Jacksonville and 8 games for the 51s during the 2007 season, finishing with a 3-4 record and a 4.29 era combined.
