Luis Antonio

Luis Antonio (born approx. in 1966) is a fashion designer and businessman.
Antonio launched his first collection in 1983, and two years later, he moved to New York, where he attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, where he studied fashion design. He graduated high school in 1984 from Nuestra Senora de la Merced High School in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. He showed a keen eye for fashion then when attending different school functions.
During the 1990s, his work went through a boom, and he became a popular designer in Puerto Rico, Latin America, Europe and the United States. He was hired by such companies as Pepsi, Budweiser, CoverGirl, Coors, Heineken International, etc., to dress their models. In addition, his designs were shown in top magazine covers, and he has worked as the personal designer for stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Astrid Munoz, Paulina Rubio, Myriam Hernandez, Luis Fonsi, Raymond Arrieta and many more.
On the business side, he opened a store in Miramar; San Juan, and has had his fashion designs sold in Tokyo, many European cities and in the United States.
He is currently the creative force behind the urban fashion brand GrnAppleTree know for its bold and unusual graphics and all over prints
