Luhanka is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Central Finland region. The municipality has a population of 905 (2003) and covers an area of 313.34 km² of which 98.31 km² is water. The population density is 2.9 inhabitants per km².

The municipality is unilingually Finnish. The municipality has previously also been known as "Luhango" in historic Swedish documents, but is today referred to as "Luhanka" also in Swedish.[1]
