[edit] German translation

I've retranslated the 1st part of this article into English. The original seems to have a been put through a translation machine. German Ludwig Gehre article. Ozdaren 07:37, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

No, not a machine, I am just a basic German speaker. Sorry. Your Grace Lord Sir Dreamy of Buckland tm 22:09, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
No need to say sorry. It's all good. Ozdaren 23:12, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] More on the translation

I'm bamboozled by the following quotation. Can someone make it say clearly whatever it is supposed to say? Richard David Ramsey 22:43, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

"This illegal court martial took part after the war because aid to the murder was condemned. The judgement already applied also without judicial decision due to Bavarian law of May 28th, 1946 as futile, was waived however again in the formal procedure before the citizen of Berlin regional court in August 1996.[2]"

That part was done by the original translator. I must admit I didn't get that far in my retranslation. Ozdaren (talk) 03:48, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

PS. On your series of minor edits, your claim your English is done by a native speaker, and therefore by default is better, is a bit inflammatory. What you changed in some instances was equally correct English by a native speaker. Ozdaren (talk) 03:56, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

I've gone back to the German W/P article and translated this part into English. Please excuse any errors as it was done on the fly. I've also fixed up some of the glaring errors in the previous paragraph eg. 'concentration camp of Beech Forest'(sic) - Buchenwald concentration camp. Ozdaren (talk) 04:42, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
