Ludwig Guttler

Ludwig Güttler was born on 13 June 1943 in Sosa, Erzgebirge region of Saxony, Germany.

Lugwig Güttler is regarded as one of the world's most successful trumpet and corno da caccia virtuosos.[citation needed]

He received a number of awards including 'Discovery of the Year’, 1983, and Frankfurt’s Musikpreis for extraordinary achievements 1989.[1]

As head of the friend's society of the Dresdner Frauenkirche, Ludwig Güttler promoted the reconstruction of this famous baroque church which was destroyed during World war II and has been reconstructed in 1994–2004.
