Ludmilla Jordanova

Ludmilla Jordanova, Fellow RHS (born October 10, 1949) is a Professor of Early Modern History at the King's College London.

Previously she held the position of Director of the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Cambridge and a Professor of the History of Arts and Science at the University of East Anglia.

She is the author of many texts regarding history of science, thinking, gender and art, and is commonly referred as one of the British leading experts in the field; she has also written broadly on the nature of her subject itself, including a book by the title "History In Practice". Professor Jordanova is also a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and has served as the President of the British Society for History of Science.
