Australian weather sucks. We have droughts all the time and it's near impossible to live in the outback due to the heat. Lucky my arse.
- I agree, Australian weather can be very inhospitable, especially if you're a pale, transplanted European like the majority of Aussies. The majority of the country is an arid wasteland. With the exception of Melbourne and Hobart, life isn't much better either in the hot, overcrowded suburbs. No wonder the Dutch never bothered to settle the continent.
