Talk:Lucas
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This link and this link say that the praenomen Lucas (from Latin) is a contraction of Lucanus (from Latin), literally meaning "of Lucania". Lucania itself derives from the ethnonym Lucani an ancient people after whom Lucania was named. Alexander 007 06:58, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
