Lucio Diodati

Lucio Diodati (born in 1955) is an Italian painter. He got his education at the fine-arts academy in L'Aquila in Italy. Diodati has mainly had his exhibitions in the USA and Italy. His first painings were exhibited in 1980. In 2002 he went to Cuba to get cultural inspiration. This lead to he begin playing with clay and moving into the world of sculptures.

It has been said that Dioati's art is a mixture of cinema, theatre and paintings, and that he is an perilous exponent of immoral irony. Diodati uses lots of critical humour in his paintings and much colour.
