Lucie Campbell

Lucie Campbell (Lucie Eddie Campbell-Williams) (April 3, 1885 in Duck Hill, Mississippi-1963) was an African American composer of hymns. Some of her most famous works are "The King's Highway", "Heavenly Sunshine", "Something Within" and "He Understands, He'll Say 'Well Done'". She was also the music director of the National Baptist Convention's Sunday School and the Union Congress of the Baptist Young People.[1]
