As best as I can tell, this is just an OR commentary. Anybody care to defend it before I nominate it for deletion?

Wikipedia does need some sort of entry on 'low culture' - whether or not we think that this entry cuts it, and whether or not we agree with the high/low cultural distinction. It is such a pervasive concept that it would be remiss not to refer to it in an encyclopedia.
