"Love Will Keep Us Alive", is the title of a song written Jim Capaldi, Paul Carrack, and Peter Vale. It was performed first by the Eagles in 1994, during their Hell Freezes Over reunion tour. It was sung by bassist Timothy B. Schmidt.
[edit] Song
According to some of the liner notes in the booklet to their 2003 greatest hits CD, this song was written when Paul Carrack and Schmidt were supposedly going to make a band during the late eighties or early nineties. Carrack wrote that song for the planned group but it was never done. So Schmidt used the song for an Eagles single.
Aside from being on Hell Freezes Over, it can be found on the 2003 compilation album, The Very Best of the Eagles.
