Love Is for Suckers is the 5th album by the heavy metal[1] group Twisted Sister. According to the Live At Wacken DVD, the material was originally meant to be Dee's solo album. However, the record company pushed them to do it together, and ultimately it could have played a role in their break-up. It was released by Atlantic Records on August 13, 1987. This would be their last all-new or "Studio" album, as all albums during their break-up have been compilations or live albums (After the reunion the band recorded Still Hungry, and A Twisted Christmas.) The tour for the album ended in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 10, 1987. Two days later, October 12, 1987 vocalist Dee Snider "Announced" he left the band.
