An originally unpronounceable symbol (later dubbed "Love Symbol #2" for copyrighting) used by the musician Prince as the title of an album (see Love Symbol) and for a time, as his stage name.

Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

  1. It illustrates the main subject of the respective article.
  2. It represents a minimal use, as it is of a reasonably low resolution.
  3. It has been previously published by the copyright holder, both in physical and digital form.

  5. A free alternative is not available, since redrawing a logo is no different than just using the original.
