I disagree with making Baton Rouge the strongest association with Swamp Blues; and this blurb, and the Swamp Blues article itself, also indicate that Cajun & Zydeco music come from Baton Rouge. I feel this is incorrect, although I don't have the time to research this right now. Most of this music was recorded in Crowley, St. Martinville, New Iberia, Houma/Thibodeaux, and even New Orleans. Before the federal government built I-10, you wouldn't even travel through Baton Rouge to get from one of these places to another.

I'm glad there's something here, though. I guess my real complaint is it feels like the Swamp Blues article linked from this stub is attempting to position Cajun and Zydeco music further north. I should actually write something there. Trst (talk) 17:31, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
