Talk:Louis Gigante

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Starbuck Prescott 12:45, 26 January 2007 (UTC) The Reverend Louis Gigante, in addition to being a major local philanthropist and two-term city council member in the Bronx, was implicated by the testimony of Mafia rat George Barone as being a major member of the administration of the Genovese crime family, the largest and most powerful crime family in the country. A Catholic priest and local NYC celebrity who turns out to be a cooperating member of New York's most powerful mafia family has a clear case for newsworthiness and notability. The New York Times, Village Voice, Crime TV's Crime Library, and New York Sun columnist Jerry Capeci all have multiple publically available articles where Father Gigante is the central or a major subject that are freely available on the internet.
