Lourdes Hospital is a 750 bed, tertiary care hospital, located in Cochin, Kerala, India. It is one of the oldest hospitals in Cochin and has recently upraded its facilities with a new block housing the cardiology and neurology services,Lourdes Heart institute. It was initially set up to cater to the mainly fishing population of the nearby Vypeen and Bolghatty Island s, but later expanded to serve a larger population of southern Cochin,the Lakshadweep islands and other states.

Lourdes Hospital is located in Cochin, the major city of the southern Indian state of Kerala. It is 2 km from the heart of the city with direct road from Marine Drive at pachalam, and a secondary seafront road reaching the hospital via the ancient Mount Carmel (Chathiath) church.Due to its uniquely placed position, only 2 km from the High court of Kerala, it is accessible from both the city and the suburbs. Approach from Kaloor is to be avoided in view of a railway crossing enroute, however, direct access is possible from Kacheripady and High court junction without any significant roadblocks.
