[edit] Route description
From the south, LA 306 begins at the Burchell Canal in Bayou Gauche. About four miles to the north, it meets LA 632 (WPA Road) to the west. Continuing northward, the two highways multiplex for about 0.6 miles before LA 632 departs again to the east, this time as Grand Bayou Road. About four miles further to the north, LA 306 intersects US 90 in Paradis. Just past this intersection, the highway ends at an intersection with LA 631 (Old Spanish Trail).
LA 306 is an undivided, two-lane highway for its entire length.
