[edit] Biography
She was born near Redbridge in Essex, England, the fifth child of seven siblings to a family of Irish extraction[citation needed]. She began taking drama lessons when she was eight. Lombard was educated in a local Roman Catholic school (Trinty Catholic High School - Woodford Green), from which she achieved nine O' Levels.[1] Lombard studied printing and photography at St. Martin's College in London. She is best known for her role as Evangeline in the 1990s television show The House of Eliott, in which she played the younger of the two Eliott sisters. Subsequently, in 1998-99 she took a career break to study English Literature at St Edmund's College of University of Cambridge but was soon tempted back to the screen by the TV series Metropolis.
In 1998 she starred in cult classic, Tale of the Mummy. In 1999, she starred in the movie, "Esther", with F. Murray Abraham.
In 2004, she appeared in the film, Hidalgo, and began the recurring role of Sofia Curtis on the hit CBS television series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, in which the character demands an American accent, but her British accent is often heard. [2]
Currently she is filming for a pilot television show for CBS in the United States called Wanted.[1]
