Louis Monier

Louis Monier (1956) is the founder of Internet search engine AltaVista. Later, he was an eBay Fellow and worked at Google.[1] He left Google in August 2007 to joing Cuill, a search engine startup. [2]
Monier received a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Université de Paris in 1980 and did stints at Carnegie Mellon University, Xerox PARC, and DEC's Western Research Laboratory.
