Talk:Los Fabulosos Cadillacs
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Perhaps some mention needs to be made of the themes of their songs and the politics of the band. "Desapariciones" for instance is heavily political on the topic of people that disappeared in latin america (during the Argentine junta and Condor in general) and the song was written by Ruben Blades [1], the "Mal Bicho" video also has footage of Videla (and a person dressed up as Videla in the video), Pinochet, and other dictators along with politically charged lyrics "Yo no voy a la guerra, a la violencia, a la injusticia, ni a tu codicia" [2], etc...--Jersey Devil 07:12, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
