[edit] Musical artist infobox
Am I the only one who thinks that this infobox is inappropriate for an orchestra? We currently have that the LA Phil was "born" in 1919, that its "occupation" is "symphony orchestra" and that its "associated acts" include the Hollywood Bowl orchestra and its "members" are Salonen, Borda etc. Perhaps we could create our own infobox with more appropriate titles? [edit] List of musicians
Should this be deleted? I don't think many other orchestra wikipedia entries have them, if any. Plus, it's almost not worth updating regularly, it would seem. DJRafe 03:33, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
Cant believe the above view. I thought the whole point of wiki was to pass on information. I for one would need a list of members and possibly for the hollwood bowl orchestra covering start to now as im looking to trace a relative who i believe was a viola player in the hollywood bowl orchestra during 60s or 70s, so i guess that would put her in this orchestra. Her name was Dixie Black. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.107.82.172 (talk) 20:32, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Los Angeles Philharmonic discography
I forked the l-o-o-ng list of recordings to its own article. The article was 45 kilobytes, and the longest we really want is 32 kB so it's easier to use by folks who have slow connections or older computers. I also did a little style editing, but it needs more. Great work on the discography, btw – KrakatoaKatie 03:23, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Noted. I thought of creating it as a seperate page from the get-go, but wasn't sure about it. Happy that some find/found it useful (Westofpch (talk) 05:58, 19 March 2008 (UTC))
