Lost in the Fog (Sprint)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lost in the Fog is an American ungraded stakes run at Golden Gate Fields in Albany, California for Thoroughbred two-year-old horses. A five furlong dash, the race is named in honor of Lost in the Fog, the brilliant sprinter who made his name between 2004 and 2006, but then died tragically of cancer.

First run on June 10, 2007, the Lost in the Fog offers a purse of $50,000 added (plus $15,000 CBOIF: California Bred Owner Fund) and is a proving ground for young sprinters.
