Lorin F. Jones was a member of the Utah State Legislature.^{[citation needed]} He also served as president of the Spanish-American Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints^[1] and was closely involved with the first presentation of the temple ordinances in Spanish.^{[citation needed]}
