Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary is a public high school in Surrey, British Columbia part of School District 36 Surrey. Lord Tweedsmuir can trace its history back to the original and lone Surrey High School. Following the opening of Semiahmoo and Queen Elizabeth High Schools in 1940, the original school was renamed Central Junior Senior High School. The school was later renamed Lord Tweedsmuir after John Buchan, 1st Baron Tweedsmuir, the Governor General of Canada from 1935 to 1940.
