Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland

The Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland is the head of the judiciary in Northern Ireland, presiding over the Courts of Northern Ireland. The present Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland is Sir Brian Kerr. His counterparts in England and Wales and in Scotland are the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales and the Lord President of the Court of Session.

The position was established with the creation of Northern Ireland in 1922.
