Lord Baltimore Hotel

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lord Baltimore Hotel is located at 20 West Baltimore Street in the downtown area of Baltimore, Maryland. The hotel was designed by William L. Stoddart and opened on December 30, 1928.[1] The 22 story French Renaissance style hotel has a brick veneer over a steel frame and is 289 feet tall. The building is topped with a mansard roof that has turned green with age.

With the redevelopment of the downtown area in the 1990s, the hotel is within walking distance of many Baltimore attractions such as the Inner Harbor, Camden Yards, and the National Aquarium.

The Lord Baltimore Hotel is operated by Radisson Hotels.

The hotel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
