[edit] Rewrite needed

This article reads like it's ripped right off some medical journal. It needs to be more concise and not go into excessive detail as to the development of the device. Explain the importance of this device for the general public please, not just for doctors and patients in the field of rehab therapy.

Secondly, the links to references need to be wikified.
