Talk:Lone Elm, Kansas
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I was a student of John V Lintner, Jr at Harvard Business School in the 1970s and 80s. Professor Lintner was a highly-distinguished economist who was one of the innovators (along with William Sharpe of Stanford) of perhaps the most important breakthrough in investment theory, the Capital Asset Pricing Model. He died tragically in an automobile accident...in the late 80s or early 90s. He once told me that he had been born in Lone Elm, KS.
If you want a more detailed biography, I suspect that the Harvard University Archives in Cambridge, MA can help. There was a biography included in the booklet distributed at his memorial service. 72.37.171.20 18:07, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
