Please see the discussion on Talk:London Underground 1996 Stock, as well as p13 and p15 of London Underground's official rolling stock guide [1], re the traction control systems on the two train types. In short, the 1995 stock is *newer* in traction control design terms than the 1996 stock, despite the nominal dates carried by both train types.--Stalinism 12:26, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
