Talk:London Buses route W7

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I hope I've not misrepresented what was written though some text was rather foggy. Cut reference to Oyster as that was introduced a couple of years after the prepay trial. LNER's sloth, though possible, needs reference, indeed whole article does but articles about the world around us often have none.--SilasW 16:48, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 212

As mentioned here, the 212 (fore-runner of W7) had some 'express' services, which skipped most intermediate stops. My understanding was that these were introduced as a sop to replace the railway service from Finsbury Park to Muswell Hill, but they were quietly dropped with the introduction of the W7. They were distinguished by a blue rather than black route indicator the front. Pterre (talk) 17:02, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
