[edit] Logo

Seems to be a bit of confusion between a coat of arms and a logo. All local authorities in England have both. The logo is used for most things like leaflets, signage, websites etc. and these change from time to time. They do not "replace" the coat of arms which are granted when the authority is formed and only replaced should the local authority become defunct and say merged with another. This coat of arms is still current [1] MRSC 07:44, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
