[edit] History articles for Barnet

These were a terrible mess with lots overlap, duplicated articles etc. Each "History of..." article should now directly relate to a district page:

The articles about formal parishes/districts should be named as such - otherwise it is consfusing to the reader as the parish/urban district/municipal boroughs usually covered a greater area than the town they were named after. These articles take the form of the name and status when it was abolished in 1965:

Redirects can be created for example from Hendon Urban District and the changing status shown in the article. As all these districts are historical anyway the articles do not need to be called "History of..." Please follow these naming conventions. MRSC 10:43, 30 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] twinned towns

As you go from Finchley to Whetstone, there's something which says "Welcome to the London Borough of Barnet, which is twinned with these towns/cities: And it names about 7, two in France, two in Germany, one in the USA and a couple more that I can't remember. Does anyone know them to add? -sars 18:05, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

Ramat-Gan, Israel; somewhere in Cyprus; and somewhere in Uganda. They're listed on the barnet.gov.uk website. Alexisr 13:28, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Demographics

The ethnicities add up to more than 100% when including Jewish (which isn't an ethnic category on the UK census), and less than 100% without. Where are the missing data? Lfh 11:11, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
