He has more than 20 years of experience in entertainment business affairs with emphasis on international and domestic motion pictures, television series and movies of the week, music, digital media, and other complex entertainment and multimedia transactions. He acts and has acted as business affairs and deal-maker for individuals (including actors, directors, and musicians) and companies (both boutique and public) on all aspects of entertainment matters, including financing, production, domestic and international distribution (in all media), merchandising, and other licensing agreements for film, television, and TV movies and miniseries (with credits for almost 200 productions); recording, publishing, and soundtrack album agreements for both individual artists and composers; actor, director, producer, writer, and all other talent (above- and below-the-line) agreements in film and television; joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions, executive employment agreements; complex acquisitions and sales of entertainment catalogs; and all entertainment issues relative to the Internet and mobile entertainment. Lonnie has also transitioned companies from small production and distribution entities into major film and television production and distribution companies with over 20-25 productions per year. He has extensive experience in representing clients in a business affairs capacity with respect to the creation of start-up companies, such as production and other entertainment companies, record labels, music publishers, gaming, and Internet and wireless companies. Lonnie was also co-owner of a successful urban record label.
