Lonnie Billiter Jr.

On Monday February 13th, 2006, Lonnie Billiter Jr., 24, a Colerain Township native, became the eighth bowler to achieve a perfect 900 score (36 strikes in a row), sanctioned by the U.S. Bowling Congress, since records started being kept in the 1890s. He was the first since Darren Pomije, of New Prague, MN, on Dec. 9, 2004. Billiter achiefed the feat in Fairfield Lanes, a bowling alley in Cincinnati, Ohio.
