Longitudinal facial crack

A Longtudinal facial crack is a slab defect of the continuous slab casting process in steel making. This defect is caused by uneven cooling, both primary cooling and secondary cooling, and includes molten steel qualities, including chemical composition out of spect, cleanliness, homogeneity, etc.
