The Longhorn Moth (Nemophora degeerella) is a day active lepidopteran from the family Adelidae, the fairy long horn moths. The wingspan of the moth ranges from 16 to 23 millimeters.
The Longhorn Moth males have antennas ranging up to five times their body length, while the female has much shorter antennas. The habitat of the moth is moist forests. The moth is mostly seen in The Netherlands and Belgium.
The flight period of the moth ranges from May to July. The caterpillar feeds on leaf remains of birches. The adult moth feeds on Persicaria bistorta, Leucanthemum vulgare and nettles.
