Longformacus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Longformacus is a small village in Berwickshire in the Scottish Borders near Duns, about 22 miles west of Berwick-upon-Tweed, which is in England. It is in the Lammermuir Hills, and the Dye Water runs through the village, flowing east to join the Whiteadder Water nearby. The opera Lucia di Lammermoor was set in Longformacus.
The Southern Upland Way long distance path passes through the village.
